On each turn, a player drops a pawn into their chosen column, where it falls to the lowest available spot before the opponent takes their move. The first player to form a continuous horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line of at least four matching pawns wins. If the entire grid fills up without either player achieving this alignment, the match ends in a draw.
