Ferdinand Card Match

Ferdinand Card Match is based on the 2017 American computer-animated adventure comedy film created by Blue Sky Studios and released by 20th Century Fox. Loosely adapted from the 1936 children's book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, the movie was scripted by Robert L. Baird, Tim Federle, and Brad Copeland, with direction by Carlos Saldanha. It boasts a star-studded voice cast featuring John Cena, Kate McKinnon, Bobby Cannavale, Peyton Manning, Anthony Anderson, David Tennant, Tim Nordquist, Lily Day, Juanes, Jerrod Carmichael, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Raúl Esparza, Gina Rodriguez, Daveed Diggs, Gabriel Iglesias, Flula Borg, Boris Kodjoe, and Sally Phillips. John Powell composed the score, marking his eighth and last project with Blue Sky prior to its closure on April 10, 2021. The narrative, penned by Ron Burch, David Kidd, and Don Rhymer, centers on Ferdinand, a mild-mannered pacifist bull who rejects bullfighting but is compelled to return to the arena, where his convictions are tested as he confronts the world's top matador.
