Kingdom of Pixels is a 2D MOBA and Platformer game that resembles the style of other MOBAs such as League of Legends and DOTA 2. The game features a pixel-art theme, giving it a nostalgic and simple aesthetic. Select from a varied roster of heroes to control, and secure victory by destroying the opposing crystal! Defeating enemy minions and heroes grants you Gold for building and upgrading items, while Experience allows you to level up and grow stronger. You can leverage map elements like Runes and Brushes to gain an edge and steer the match in your favor! With numerous heroes and items available, every game offers a unique experience. Pick a melee or ranged hero specializing in either Normal or Magic damage, tailor your item build to your playstyle, and defeat foes through careful planning and strategy! The game remains in Pre-Alpha stage, with many improvements and features planned for future updates. Average match duration: ~15 minutes Current playable modes: 1 v 1 Ranked Match (Face off directly against your opponent!) 2 v 2 Ranked Match (Team up with a partner and win through cooperation!) Practice Match (Play solo to test various item builds with your chosen hero!) How to play: Item purchases are limited to your spawn area, so plan your gear carefully before moving to lane! Victory is achieved by having your minions destroy the enemy crystal. You cannot damage the crystal directly, making your minions essential for winning. Clear the path to the enemy crystal by taking down their tower. This action enhances your minions' stats, providing a significant advantage! Strategies: A 45-second preparation period counts down to 00:00 before the match begins. At 00:00, the first minion wave appears, along with the Gold Rune in the upper region. Use this time to position yourself near the Gold Rune to claim the extra gold! When purchasing items, ensure you reserve enough gold for at least one Health Potion! A Health Potion helps you stay in lane longer by maintaining high health levels to react to enemy movements. Remember to avoid taking damage while using one, as it will interrupt the healing process! Buff Runes appear every minute starting at 01:00 in the bottom area. Exploit these runes, as the buffs they provide can shift the balance against the enemy, particularly in 2v2 matches!
